About Bubble Shooter
Bubble Shooter is the classic bubble pop game: aim a launcher at a ceiling packed with colorful bubbles, fire, and pop every group of three or more that match. It's free, runs right in your browser on phones, tablets and computers, and there's nothing to download or sign up for.
The fun is in the angles. A dotted aim guide shows exactly where your bubble will travel — including one bounce off the side wall — and a ghost ring marks the spot where it will stick. Bank shots let you reach bubbles hidden behind others, and popping the right bubble can cut loose a whole cluster that comes crashing down for bonus points.
This version is endless: clear the board and a new, tougher level drops in with more colors and less room for mistakes. Your best score is saved, your game is saved if you leave the page, and every finished game can be posted to the global leaderboard.
How to play Bubble Shooter

Aim the launcher
Move your mouse, drag a finger or hold the arrow keys to rotate the launcher at the bottom of the screen. The dotted line previews the bubble's path, bounces off the walls once, and a dashed ring shows where it will land.

Shoot and match three
Click, release your finger or press Space to fire. The bubble sticks to the first bubble (or the ceiling) it touches. If it joins a group of three or more of the same color, the whole group pops.

Drop the hangers
Any bubbles that are no longer connected to the ceiling fall off the board. Dropped bubbles are worth more than popped ones, and big drops earn a multiplier — so look for the bubble that holds a whole cluster up.

Plan with the next bubble
You can see the next bubble beside the launcher. Tap it (or press X) to swap it with the current one when the current color has no good target. You only ever get colors that are still on the board.

Watch the row counter
The ring on the right counts down with every shot that doesn't pop anything. When it hits zero, a new row of bubbles pushes the whole cluster down. If any bubble crosses the dashed line near the launcher, the game is over.

Bubble Shooter tips and strategy
Go for drops, not just pops
Popping three bubbles scores 30 points. Cutting loose ten bubbles underneath them can score hundreds. Before every shot, look for a narrow neck of bubbles holding up a big cluster and aim there.
Use the walls
The side walls are your friend. A bank shot can slip past a blocking bubble and reach the exact gap you need. The aim guide shows the bounce, so line it up and trust it.
Swap before you waste a shot
If your current bubble has no match within reach, swap to the next bubble instead of throwing it somewhere random. Every shot that doesn't pop moves the ceiling closer.
Keep a clean dumping ground
When you must place a bubble without popping, park it next to others of the same color. Two matching bubbles side by side become an easy pop later — scattered singles just clutter the board.
Chain popping shots
Popping on consecutive shots builds a streak that multiplies your points, up to double. A steady rhythm of small pops beats waiting around for one big shot.
Clear the edges early
Bubbles along the side walls are the hardest to reach once the board fills up. Deal with them while you still have clear lines to the walls.
Mind the danger line
When the lowest bubbles get close to the dashed line it starts to flash red. At that point, prioritize any shot that pops or drops bubbles from the bottom of the cluster.
Scoring and levels
- Popped bubbles score 10 points each.
- Dropped bubbles score 20 points each — doubled when you drop 5 or more at once, and more again for 10 or more.
- Streaks: each popping shot in a row adds a 0.2× bonus, up to ×2.
- Board clear: wiping out every bubble earns 1,000 points × your current level, then the next level begins.
Level 1 uses four colors and gives you six misses before a new row arrives. Later levels add a fifth and sixth color, deal more starting rows and shorten the countdown to as few as three misses — so the longer you survive, the more every shot matters.
Where bubble shooter games come from
The bubble shooter formula comes from the arcade game Puzzle Bobble, released by Taito in 1994 and known in North America as Bust-a-Move. It starred the dinosaurs from Bubble Bobble and introduced the aim-bounce-and-match idea that countless games have copied since.
In the early 2000s, simple downloadable and browser versions called "Bubble Shooter" made the genre one of the most-played casual games on the web, and it's been a staple on phones ever since. Our take keeps the classic rules and adds a live trajectory preview, a landing marker and endless levels.
